Leyte Motel files Estafa Complaint against Supt. Marcos for not Paying P28,452 Bill
A local bar and motel in Baybay City, Leyte has filed a complaint against the controversial police officer, Supt. Marvin Marcos, after the latter, refused to pay his bills amounting to P28,452.
In a report published by Sunstar Ormoc, Marcos reportedly entered at Paradise Inn May 15, with a 27-year old female companion. The couple reportedly stayed inside the motel for 10 days and checked-out on May 18.
The motel said Marcos promised to pay his bills after 2 days, but the police officer has been ignoring the motel manager who keeps asking him to pay.
The hotel manager also reported that Marcos threatened to close the motel because its bar is allegedly operating illegally without proper business permits.
The motel ran out of option and filed estafa charges before the Baybay City regional trial court.
The motel said Marcos keep on ignoring their calls, and his lady companion is also unreachable.
Marcos left Leyte after former PNP Chief Ronald Dela Rosa assigned him in Mindanao, making him out of reach.
Marcos refused to comment when reporters on Wednesday contacted his office.
