Renato Reyes Asks Google “How to Cure Hangover” 10 times in 2 Days, iPhone Technician Says
Top local activist Renato Reyes Jr. on Monday called iPhone because his device stopped working, but telephone support failed to solve his problem so he brought it to a Greenhills accredited service center.
Reyes, the secretary general of Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan), said that he was frustrated because the gadget failed to work and did not live up its promise.
“Three months pa lang tumigil na e parang hindi worth yong ₱43k na ipinambili ko”, Reyes told the service center technician.
He was advised to return later to pick up his phone because they (the service center), needed more time to diagnose and check the device.
The leftist leader asked his aide to pick-up his phone at 5:00PM on Monday and the service center said Mr. Reyes need a little education on how to use his phone.
“Masyado pong maraming images at medyo di na nakayanan ng internal memory. I advise you to tell Mr. Reyes to insert a higher capacity memory card”, the technician told his aide.
The technician also added that the iPhone’s cache and cookies have not been cleared since it was purchased so the phone stopped working when it ran out of internal storage.
The technician who refuses to get identified because he knew that the phone was owned by a controversial figure, revealed to visiting reporters that Mr. Reyes searches Google for hangover cure 10 times on Saturday and Sunday alone. “I think he suffered serious hangover that time that’s why he asked Google for help,” he said.
He added that based on iPhones cached files, Mr. Reyes used keywords such as “how to cure a hangover, hangover remedy at home, cure hangover fast, and hangover fast relief”.
Reyes is said to be a strong drinker but this is the first time that information related to his drinking habit was revealed publicly.
