Leaked: Sarah Elago to Make at Least ₱3-M on February 23 Edsa Day 2 Rally

A day after President Rodrigo Duterte said that he will kick-out UP students to walks out from their classes to attend street protests, former student leader activist and Kabataan Party List Congressman Sarah Jane Elago responded, criticizing Duterte.

“On February 23, expect even more students to walk out of their classes to fight Duterte’s dictatorship and tyrannical attacks on the youth and the people,” Elago  said.

February 23 is the second day of EDSA 1 celebration and according to a very reliable source inside the Liberal Party headquarters, Elago is very excited for the February 23 because she is expected to receive at least ₱3 million compensation from the LP heavyweights.

“The party has appropriated ₱56 million for Edsa 2 rally and this money will be used for organizing street protests. Leaders like Sara Elago, Renato Reyes Jr, Teodoro Casiño, and others are expected to receive ₱3 to ₱5 million respectively. “ the source said.

“Elago is tasked to bring students on the streets as many as possible so she will have a bigger budget” the source added.

Elago is the poorest congressman with an estimated ₱50,000 net worth according to her SALN.

Last year during the Asean Summit, Renato Reyes was reported to received ₱2.3 million from financiers.
