Napoles to Drilon: Ilalabas Ko ang Baho ng Tangkal Mo!

A day after pork barrel queen Janet Lim Napoles was admitted into the witness protection program (wpp), the embattled lady vowed to bite back at people who made her life miserable.

Napoles was quick to mention Sen. Franklin Drilon and former President Benigno Aquino III as the masterminds and the biggest beneficiaries of the pork barrel and PDAF scam.

On Friday, Napoles said she will make sure Drilon will pay the price.

“Ligtas sila noon dahil hawak nila ang batas at walang kalaban-laban ang mga kalaban nila. Pati ako nadamay. Sisiguraduhin k okay Sen. Drilon na lalabas ang baho ng tangkal niya. I have all the evidence na hindi kayang burahin”, Napoles told reporters on Saturday morning.

The pork barrel queen said Drilon was not dragged because he was under the ruling party.

“Other senators who were not under the administration were brought top jail while others under the administration enjoyed better lives. Now is the time for  redemption”, she added.

While her admission to the program is provisional, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre explained that upon Napoles’ request, “we can provide additional security and as warranted, address medical needs.”

Senior Assistant State Prosecutor Ma. Nerissa Molina-Carpio, director of the WPP under the Department of Justice (DOJ), issued a certification that Napoles “has been provisionally covered by the Witness Protection Security and Benefit Program (WPSBP) effective Feb. 27, 2018.”

The admission of Napoles to the WPP would have no effect on her pending cases before the Sandiganbayan, Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales said yesterday in a statement when asked for comment.

“It has no effect on the cases under trial in court,” said Morales, the former Supreme Court associate justice who filed 12 cases of plunder, graft and malversation of public funds cases against Napoles.

Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang refused to comment on the motion seeking to transfer custody of the accused from Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig to the WPP.

“Her counsel filed today a motion to transfer her in light of this very recent development, her coverage under the WPP,” she told The STAR.

Napoles promised to “tell all” once she is given the chance, and Drilon is first on her radar.
