Robredo Point Fingers: Sila Lang! Hindi Ako Kasali
Vice President Maria Leonor Robredo on Saturday told reporters outside her Naga City house that it is possible that some Liberal Party candidates were involved in electoral fraud but it does not mean she was involved.
Her statement was in response to Senators Nancy Binay and Tito Sotto saying that there was massive fraud committed by LP candidates during the 2016 National Elections.
“Siguro kung may nandaya man, sila lang. Sigurado tayong hindi tayo kasali ron”, Robredo said.
Former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas, a losing Presidential candidate earlier said that “kung nandaya man kami, wala na ring kwenta dahil talo rin kami”.
Robredo on her part washes her hands on the alleged electoral fraud amid former Senator Bongbong Marcos’ protest.
The Vice President meanwhile did not rule out that some of her party mates were involved in massive fraud.
“May tiwala naman tayo sa system, lalo na sa Smartmatic kaya lalabas din ang totoo”, Robredo said.
