NAIA is on hot water again due to “tanim na bala” incedent that happened yesterday.
A Facebook user shared her experience of how the event took place.
Bound to Zamboanga, Kristine Bumanglang Moran is accompanied by her mother and daughter who just went out from the hospital.
Around 2:30 PM, they were put on hold by the NAINA officers as there was something that was detected by the X-ray scan.
Thinking that it may just be the black box which they used as physical therapy medical instrument for treating their patients, she gladly assists and helped the officer in opening the bag.
9mm Bullet Found Inside the Bag
The man in a grey sweater as described by Kristine, pulled out her daughter’s jumpsuit and said, “eto yun”, but they found nothing inside. However, another airport staff said, “buksan pa natin”.” Moran was shocked and surprised when she saw a tiny 9mm caliber bullet inside the front pocket of her bag.
Dismayed and furious, the woman started yelling out of frustration.
“Mga tarantado kayo. Hindi pa pala tapos itong palabas ninyo! Ako pa ang na timing nyo. Nagtatrabaho ako ng maayos at sa gobyerno na tulad nyo. Mga putsa kayo kasama ko ang anak ko kakadischarge lamang sa ospital tapos ang nanay ko nasa senior citizen!”
A police officer came into the scene and the woman had a conversation with.
The police officer assured the woman that they will just record the incident instead on the logbook and they are all good.
