Renato Reyes Jr. Finally Lands a Legitimate Job in Bulacan
Bagong Alyansang Makabayan Secretary-General (Bayan) Renato Reyes Jr. is finally employed after decades of finding a job that would fit into his limited qualifications.
On Wednesday, All Waste Services Inc., a waste management company that operates in Bocaue, Bulacan, hired Mr. Reyes as dump site administrator in its new location in Porac, Pampanga.
According to the source, Mr. Reyes has a strong connection with the company’s current general manager that’s why he got the job. More than 30 highly qualified and experienced people applied for the said position, but it was Mr. Reyes who was hired because of his connections, the source said.
According to an applicant who was interviewed by the HR General Manager, he was offered P75,000 for the job but declined because it was lower than what he currently receives from his present company. It is safe to say that Mr. Reyes will now receive the same amount per month.

Mr. Reyes duties and responsibilities will include managing the day to day operations of the entire 130-hectare dump site.
Ac chief, he will have a dozen of office-based people working under him, and around 50 labor workforce who monitor and supervise the trucks coming in and out of the field.
Meanwhile, the waste segregation is operated by a contractor which is also under Mr. Reyes.
It is not clear whether Mr. Reyes will remain as the head of Bayan, but considering that he is on the top management position, he will be barred from engaging any labor union activities according to labor laws.
