Both Padilla and Pacquiao have children studying at the most expensive high school in the Philippines.

Padilla, who was with the audience, together with hundreds of parents who are mostly rich people, said local reporters after Pacquiao speech that he had trouble understanding Manny because he spoke English.

“Ang sa akin lang, sana tinagalog na lang ni Senador Manny at puro din naman kasi Pilipino ang mga magulang na nandoon”, Padilla said.

“Maganda yong pagtatalumpati niya, medyo mahirap lang intindihin dahil ganun naman talaga e, pag pinoy ang nag-ingles mahirap talaga di ba,” he added.

Pacquiao was not able to face the reporters after his speech as he was in hurry to attend another meeting in Zambales.

Brent International School Manila operates out of the Mamplasan, Biñan campus but also runs the satellite school for elementary students on the International Rice Research Institute compound in Los Baños.

According to its official statistics, it enrolled 923 students as for the 2018-2019 school-year with more than 300 foreign students, 250 Filipino Americans, and other mix foreign nationals.

Padilla was actually wrong to say that most in the audience were Pinoy, and even if most of the parents who attended the opening ceremony were Pinoy, they couldn’t agree with him.

The controversial actor was recently involved in another online controversy when he forced the Korean contestant to speak Tagalog at the Pilipinas Got Talent. Padilla later apologized for his actions.
