Ex-COMELEC Exec Reveals Alleged Darkest Election Plan Against Aquino Foes

On Wednesday, former Commission on Elections (COMELEC) executive who revealed how former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo rigged the 2004 presidential elections against Fernando Poe Jr., spoke to a dozen of journalists in a closed-door meeting inside Eurotel in Las Piñas City.
The former officer, who asked the media to hide his identity due to security concerns, explained in detail how Grace Poe and Francis Escudero should have won in in the last presidential elections through dirty tactics by the Aquino government.
The officer explained why Poe and Escudero and not Roxas and Robredo.
“Mahirap kasing i-manipulate and karamihan sa result kapagka ang bibigyan mo ng pabor ay malaki ang behind sa naglelead (referring to Roxas and Robredo who always far behind in surveys)”, the source said.
“Ex-President Aquino always reiterated that no matter what happens, Bongbong Marcos should not win as vice president. Since Leni Robredo is behind the surveys, and will definitely in the actual elections, it doesn’t matter if Escudero wins as long as it is not Marcos. The vote manipulation will favor Chiz and not Robredo”, the source added.
For the president, the former officer said that Aquino will favor Grace because she is the closest person to be on top with Binay and Duterte.
“It is very difficult to manipulate votes in favor of Roxas because Mar is far behind. It will be very obvious if he wins. The vote manipulation is for Grace, as long as it is not Duterte and Binay”, he said.
When asked why Aquino is desperate to have Marcos lost, “Bongbong poses a big threat to Aquinos. Marcos will surely win if there is no vote manipulation. I am from Northern Luzon and I know the sympathy of people”, the source added.
“On the other hand, neither Duterte nor Binay can be controlled by the current government so they need Poe as a puppet”, the source revealed.
“In my 36 years of working in COMELEC before I retired, this is the most exciting elections because you can already project who will win (in Duterte and Marcos) unless the government will not cheat,” he said.
“Cheating aside, who can claim that he has a solid north and solid south? Only Duterte and Marcos and that what separates them from other candidates.”, he added.
When asked how to avoid the planned vote manipulation by the current government, he said: “that will be unavoidable but can be minimized by putting provincial and regional watchers and by closely monitoring the results from Barangays to Cities and Towns, to Provinces, up to the national canvassing.”
“At the end of the day, the main antagonists behind the true evil are Grace Poe and Chiz Escudero. RoRo is just pawn”, he said.
But the official also added that Duterte's lead was huge enough to manipulate but Aquino still considered himself successful because Marcos had lost and their strategy was effective.
