Drunk Baron Geisler Loses Thumb to Pla Pla During a Late New Year Bash

Controversial actor Baron Geisler survived during a New Years Day celebration, but not after two days when his circle of friends celebrated another party with drinks and illegal fire crackers.

The drunk Giesler was rushed to Chinese General Hospital on Tuesday night after a powerful Pla Pla exploded a couple of inches away from his right hand.

According to one of his friends who came by the name of Tommy, Geisler held the Pla Pla with his left hand while his right lighted the firecracker. He then transferred the firecracker to his right and attempted to throw away when a friend interrupted him.

Drunk with slow reflexes, and lack of time, Geisler failed to throw the Pla Pla enough away that it shuttered several of his fingers upon the explosion. His thumb was severely damaged and needed to be amputated.

The actor collapsed after the explosion and landed on the ground unconscious.

He was rushed to the nearest hospital but the attending physician said it was impossible to fix Geisler right thumb because it was totally blown away.

Pla Pla is one of the most dangerous firecrackers along with Goodbye Philippines, Piccolo, Super Lolo,  Atomic Big Triangulo, and Goodbye Earth

Despite the Department of Health’s announcement that it is pleased with the low number firecracker victim last year, Baron was not an exception.

“We are relatively pleased … because of the substantial reduction, decrease in fireworks-related injuries from Dec. 21, 2017 to January 1, 2018,” Health Secretary Francisco Duque II said in a press conference at East Avenue Medical Center

Geisler is expected to be transferred to Asian Hospital in Alabang for a series of surgeries.
