The paintings, which includes the works of Picasso, Rembrandt and Michelangelo, were last seen on September 2001 according to Palace records.

PCGG launched a crowd-sourcing website to seek public help in a fresh attempt to track down up to 200 missing artworks, and so far, only 76 had been recovered. The three paintings which believed to be in the possession of Jinggoy are among the missing 27 paintings.

Estrada believed to have took the paintings on December 2000, a month before his father Erap was ousted from the Palace through EDSA II.

PCGG Commissioner Atty. Reynold S. Munsayac said the three paintings have a total estimated worth of $415 (₱21,400).

In 2014, Jinggoy Estrada was convicted of graft and corruption after evidences proved his involvement in the pork barrel scandal, where he used billions of public funds for his political antics and lavish expenses.

Estrada has not yet responded on the PCGG’s request to return the artworks as of press time.
