Experts Worry that Jake Zyrus Whole Body Will Be Covered with Hair after Taking Large Dosage of Testosterone
Doctors at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City warned that transgender singer Jake Zyrus could have his whole body covered with hair if he won’t stop injecting his body with male hormones calls testosterone.
At least three doctors aired their concern after photos of the singer showing some parts of his body growing hair went viral.
Based on earlier reports, Zyrus originally wanted to have a mustache and some facial hair but Dr. Caleb Sta. Maria, a men’s health specialist at St. Luke’s said the procedure that the singer has followed can only result to harm than good.
“Now he is growing not only mustache but hair all over his body at an alarming rate. What if hair won’t stop growing? Is he going to have a whole body haircut?” the doctor said.
Another doctor, cardiologist Shenna Gorospe said the singer is at the risk of having a heart problem is he won’t stop injecting herself with different male hormones and other medicinal therapy.
“Alarming kasi alam naman natin nap ag may pagbabago sa katawan natin na hindi normal, ang unang tatamaan ay ang puso natin, then kidney”, Gorospe said.
It is unclear when the photos started to circulate but people who last seen Zyrus said he already grew enough mustache to look like a man. They are surprised after seeing the photos.
